I don’t know about you, but my crafting stash is FULL of pieces that I consider good surfaces. I picked this particular surface up last year in the spring knowing it would be perfect for a DIY project and today I’m transforming it into a fun Dollar Tree mason jar Valentine!

Supplies Used…
- Dollar Tree Bunny Bait Plaque
- Scrapbook Paper
- Dollar Tree Wood Hearts
- Dollar Tree Wood Arrow Stickers
- Red/White/Pink Paint
- Craft Glue
- Mod Podge
- Mini Iron
- Ribbon

First things first, let’s cover the surface with some cute scrapbook paper using the Mod Podge iron on method. Lay the scrapbook paper on top of the sign and then cut a small rectangle, just large enough to cover the surface.

Next, cover the surface with Mod Podge and let it dry completely. Use a small iron and parchment paper to iron the paper onto the surface. Use sandpaper or a small file to remove the excess paper from the edges.

Painting the Hearts…
Now I’m ready to add some of the Dollar Tree wood hearts to this Dollar Tree mason jar Valentine. One is already glittered but I’ll paint the other two.

Now we can glue the hearts to the surface, add ribbon to the top and we’re all done!
