Hey there friend! Fall is coming, along with Halloween and I have an EASY way to create something cute for your mantle or shelf! I created this easy Dollar Tree mummy in about thirty minutes and you can too!

When I spotted this cheeseboard at Dollar Tree I thought it would be perfect for an easy Dollar Tree mummy so I grabbed it, along with the other supplies from Dollar Tree. I’ll be using Dollar Tree ribbon, plastic spiders, and two boxes of gauze.

First of all, I’ll paint the cheeseboard with spray paint, but you can also use a thicker paint such as chalk paint as well.

Once the paint is completely dry, I’ll start wrapping the first roll of gauze around the top of the board.

When the roll is wrapped around the board I’ll use two wood rounds (mine are different sizes) that have been painted to look like eyes using white and black paint. Use hot glue to secure them to the board.

Next, wrap the second box of gauze around the bottom of the board and around the edges of the eyes.

Now we are ready to add a fun Dollar Tree bow and a couple of the plastic spiders!

Finally the Dollar Tree mummy is all finished and ready to welcome those Trick or Treaters! This little guy will be so cute on the mantle or tucked on the kitchen counter!! Let me know what you think about this one!!
