I enjoy a great transitional piece of decor, how about you? This Dollar Tree sign that I’ll be using was $1.25, so a bargain price for this Dollar Tree transitional sign make-over! I’ll be giving it a patriotic feel for the fourth, but it can easily be transitioned for different holidays throughout the year.

The first thing I want to do is remove the screws and the photo plate on the front before spray painting everything Rust-Oleum Heirloom White.

Next, I’ll add some Raw Umber acrylic paint all the way around to the edges.

Now, I’ll tear a strip of material and stamp the word “hello.” I’ll glue this on since it doesn’t need to be transitioned.

I’ll be able to easily slip prints in and out for transitioning throughout the year. I’ve been using this Amazon paper for my prints and have fallen in love with it!

Lastly, I’ll add a couple more details. I’ll glue a little rag bow to this metal clip from Hobby Lobby that can be clipped to the top of the sign and easily transitioned to different colors.

I found a sticker in my stash and attached it to some brown kraft paper and then added black distress ink to the edges. To make it remove-able I’m adding a Velcro dot to the back.

This Dollar Tree sign transitional sign make-over turned out so cute and I love that I’ll be able to switch out my printables!! I hope you enjoyed and be sure to let me know if you try it!
