Spring is on the way and here’s an easy way to add a cute piece to your decor!! I spotted this napkin at Dollar Tree and fell in love with it!! Combine it with a .79 cent clearance sign and you have a simple Dollar Tree napkin spring sign!!

How cute is this napkin?? First up you’ll need to cut one section from the napkin and separate the two-ply napkin.

Next, add a coat of white chalk paint to the clearance sign and allow to dry.

After the paint is dry, add a coat of Mod Podge and allow to dry.

Now you’ll lay the napkin onto the surface of the sign, cover with a piece of parchment paper, and iron the napkin onto the surface. The heat from the iron will re-activate the Mod Podge and prevent wrinkles.

Add a bow…
Finally, I’m using ribbon and raffia to create a fun bow!! For the top I’m adding a small finial cap from Walmart that I’ll paint black.

This simple Dollar Tree napkin spring sign is really starting to come together, don’t you think?

It’s such a sweet little sign to add to a vignette or just display on a book stack!! You can’t beat the price either, since it comes in under $2.00!! If you LOVE a good clearance sign makeover you don’t want to miss this fun piece I created last year!! Have you tried decoupaging napkins?? Let me know what you think about this one!!
