Who LOVES the Target Dollar Spot??? I know I do and always so many great finds, which brings me to today’s DIY!! When I spotted black and white wall tiles for $5.00 I just fell in love and knew exactly what I wanted to do, a beautiful DIY black and white wood tray!!!
I had a large clearance sign that was just begging for a make-over, so when I brought these wall tiles home it was a perfect match!!
The easy up-cycle..
The first thing I’ll do is tape the edges of the sign and paint the surface with white chalk paint.
Once the paint is completely dry, I’ll start adding the stickers. I’ll start in the top left hand corner and go from there. I’m also leaving a small space between the stickers. I’m just sticking the stickers on and not using any additional glue because I don’t want to see any glue residue, and honestly they stick very well to the surface.
This was such an EASY process and look how pretty this pattern is on my DIY black and white wood tray!!!
DIY black and white wood tray finishing touches…
For the final touch I want to add some handles and I have two just like this that will be perfect! I’ll just drill holes in the sides of the frame and screw them on.
Such an easy decor piece friends!! Be sure to let me know what you think about this one!! I always LOVE black and white decor as it adds a touch of elegance!! Plus, what a great way to use a clearance sign!!!
I’m just in love with it!! Do you love repurposing clearance signs as much me?? Be sure to check out this DIY using a smaller sign!!
