I LOVE a cute sign, and EVEN BETTER if I can make it on the cheap!! I used all Dollar Tree items for this one, with the exception of the clearance surface from Big Lots and a wood finial from my stash!! All together this easy and inexpensive DIY cost about $4.00!!! Woo-hoo!!! I’m doing a happy dance over here!!
Here’s what I used….
- “hello fall” wood word cutout from Dollar Tree (It comes in a package.)
- Dollar Tree pumpkin stickers
- Dollar Tree raffia
- Clearance sign from Big Lots
- White/black paint
- Hot glue
- Small wood finial (These are my favorite from Walmart.)

The first step is super simple, paint the the surface with white chalk paint. I used three coats on mine.

Next up I’ll paint the “hello fall” wood cutout with black chalk paint.

Now we can use the hot glue to attach the wood word cutout once the paint is dry.

Finally we’re ready to add some pumpkin stickers!!

Once I’ve added all of the pumpkin stickers, I’m ready for the finial on top. I LOVE wood finials and there are so many fun ways to use them!!

Now, let’s add a raffia bow to this little easy and inexpensive DIY and attach with some hot glue!!

How stinkin’ cute you guys!?! What do you think of this one??
