Hey, hey friends!! With the holidays rapidly approaching Christmas decor is everywhere, and Walmart is no exception!! They have outdone themselves with their Christmas section, and the ornaments…. my goodness SO, SO cute!! So naturally, in today’s DIY I’m using one of the cutest ornaments I’ve seen to make a Christmas red truck farmhouse wreath!!

Isn’t this this cutest little ornament?? It’s from Walmart and is $1.98!!

I decided to use two of the ornaments along with two wreaths. This little wreath is about 10 inches across and I purchased it at Hobby Lobby in the Christmas section. It was 50 percent off, so it was about $4.00.
The next step is simple and easy, as I just attached the ornament to the wreath so it would hang in the center.

Before attaching the ornament I cut the jute string off the top.

Next, I used a small piece of wire and threaded it through the ornament hook. I’ll attach the ornament to the wreath with the wire.

Twist the wire ends around each other and then snip off the excess.

Push the wire ends behind the ornament and pull some of the wreath sprigs around the ornament to help hold in place.

There’s one last thing to add in order to give this wreath a pop of color. These little picks came from Hobby Lobby in the Christmas section. They are a little darker red than I want, so I just painted them with some acrylic bright red paint!

I’ll just tuck the berries in the wreath, but you could use a small dab of hot glue to attach if needed. This Christmas red truck farmhouse wreath is simple and inexpensive, coming in around $7.50 each!

Hope you enjoyed friends!!
