I spotted an oversized ornament wood cut-out at Dollar Tree and knew immediately I needed to pair it with the popular Dollar Tree tile!! The combination will create the prettiest oversized Dollar Tree Christmas tree ornament!! The best part is that this project comes in UNDER $10.00!!

This ornament fits perfectly on the back of the tile without an inch to spare!! Trace it onto the back and cut it out.

Now I’ll just glue the tile onto the cut-out using E-6000 and a little hot glue. (This is the hot glue gun I use.) Use the hot glue sparingly because it can melt the tile. If you LOVE these tiles be sure to see this Christmas tree I created!!

Adding your favorite paint color….
Next I’ll paint it a pretty color, Waverly’s Laquer red. Once the red is completely dry, I’ll lightly brush on some white Waverly chalk paint.

I have pretty Christmas greenery from Dollar General that I picked up for $3.00 and I’ll add some sprigs of that to the top, along with two Dollar Tree bells.

Oh my goodness!! I love how this looks so far!!

I just love the greenery and bells on the top!! The red and the green pair very well together to create an elegant look, and I’m so happy with the outcome!! Let me know what you think friends!!
