Want to add some spring vibes to your front porch? This simple spring bunny wreath DIY is an easy way to add some spring color using what you already have on hand!! Have a boxwood or other wreath laying around? You’re halfway there!!
I have a green wreath from Hobby Lobby that I LOVE, so I use it year round on my front porch by adding different elements for the seasons and holidays. Since spring is on the way, along with Easter, I thought a fun bunny accent would be perfect!!
Creating the bunny….
For the bunny details I’m using the Dollar Tree wall tiles for LOTS of texture, along with some Dollar Tree rope and cardboard.

First things first, I’ll draw two bunny ears on the back of a tile and cut them out.

Next, I’m painting both ears with white chalk paint.

This next step could be skipped, but I love an aged look so I’m adding distress ink.

Look at all the wonderful character that added to this textured piece!! I want to add some stability to the ears since this tile is fairly thin. I’ll glue both ears to some cardboard with E-6000 and then cut them out.

Guess where I got my cardboard, LOL!!! Now let’s add some Dollar Tree rope around the edges of each ear using hot glue.

Now, I need a way to attach the ears to my wreath, so I’ll hot glue a popsicle stick to the back of each one in order to push it down into the wreath.

Finally, we are so CLOSE, but this doesn’t look to springy yet, does it? I’ll add some flowers to act as a “crown” for our bunny and to add some color!
Bringing it all together…

I’ll start with these and use a zip tie to attach because that Oklahoma wind can be very unforgiving!! Once I get these on my wreath I can add more. If you love bunny projects as much as me, be sure to look at this one too!!

That’s it, it’s all finished!! You can use any color of flower to make this simple spring bunny wreath DIY more to your liking!! I’m just loving how it all came together!! What do you think? Is your porch ready for spring?
