Spring fever is setting in and I’m wanting to create all things spring!! I found styrofoam eggs in three different sizes at Dollar Tree and thought I’d add a little “bling” to them! I’ll be using some fun Diamond Dust (NEW to me!!) and pretty spring napkins to create these fun Dollar Tree decoupaged Easter eggs!!

All the supplies…
Here’s what I’ll use to create!!
- Dollar Tree Styrofoam Egg (3)
- Pretty Spring Napkin from one of our napkin bundles (You can order one here.)
- Diamond Dust (I use this from Amazon.)
- Mod Podge
- Small olive bucket
- Greenery
- Styrofoam Block
- Dollar Tree spray glue

Decoupaging the Eggs
This first thing to do for this simple little project is decoupage the eggs. I’m using the pretty napkins with birds and butterflies. Separate all three plies and then cut the napkin into smaller sections. I like to brush Mod Podge on one small section and pat a small piece of napkin down. Now use the Mod Podge leftover on the brush to pat down the edges of the napkin.

Diamond Dust Bling
Here’s where the bling comes in!! In the sections where my napkin pieces don’t meet, I’m going to add more Mod Podge and then sprinkle with Diamond Dust.

This adds so much sparkle to the egg!! Trust me, these pictures do not do this project justice!! It’s so pretty!! Once all three of the eggs are decoupaged and “dusted” I’ll add a light spray of glue to secure the Diamond Dust.

The Nest
While the eggs are drying I’ll create a nest of sorts by placing a small piece of styrofoam block into a small Hobby Lobby olive bucket. Then I’m using some small greenery sprigs to tuck in around the foam and on top. I’ll finish it off by tucking the eggs into the greenery.

I truly wish you could see how these sweet little Dollar Tree decoupaged Easter eggs sparkle!! This is just the sweetest little arrangement!! All that’s left to do now is set it out for all to see and enjoy!! If you LOVE Dollar Tree spring projects be sure to go see this one too!!
