In need of some Valentine decor? This simple glittered burlap Valentine banner is so easy and neutral you’ll love it!! It will look beautiful on a mantle or shelf for the whole month of February, or even the whole year!!
I have fallen in love with simple decor and I want to add a third garland to my mantle and I’m thinking this will be perfect!! It starts with a burlap pad that I purchased at Hobby Lobby on the scrapbook aisle. I’ll be using six burlap rectangles and a card stock pennant that came in a pad from Ross for the pattern.

First I’ll lay the card stock pennant onto to the burlap rectangle and cut it out. I’m not even going to take the time to trace it, just hold it on there and cut. I’ll do this six times. I’ll also trace the holes with a pen and use a hole punch to remove.

The next thing I’ll do is use Waverly Chalk paint in ivory and paint each cut-out piece. I’m not completely covering the burlap with paint, just lightly brushing on the paint. Once the paint is completely dry, I’ll be tracing around a wood heart cutout on each pennant. Then I’ll add Mod Podge and glitter.
All the glitter….

Once all six pennants are glittered you’re almost done!! The very last thing to do to create this simple glittered burlap Valentine banner is run a string through the six pennants. Do you LOVE banners as much as me?? Here’s another one I created for spring!!
