Hey friends!! I have another space that just has to have a little touch of Valentine’s Day! It will be easy to incorporate pieces that I already have on hand, plus a Dollar General find to put together this cute Valentine’s Day Vignette!!

Let’s talk about how I put everything together!
I start with this wood pedestal tray that I created from a garage sale wood box. It’s one of my favorite pieces in my home and I love to change it out for the seasons and holidays. I add a lantern I already have and simply hot glue a little chipboard heart on the front to add a little color.

The next piece I add is this wood heart my husband cut out of scrap wood and put our initials on! The house shape was a previous DIY that you can see here.

Finally on to one of my favorite pieces in this little vignette, this little garland!! I found it at Michael’s in the after Christmas clearance!! I’m so happy I can use it here, those colors are just gorgeous!!

And although this little piece sits outside the box, it fits perfectly with this little Valentine’s Day vignette!! I found it at the Dollar General for $5.00 and snatched it up!! The box that the blocks sit in was originally gold, but I decided to spray paint it white. I can see us playing tic-tac-toe with it at night in the living room. And, it’s versatile because we can use it year round!

One last element to mention is the grouping of little yarn covered hearts in the apothecary jar. I LOVE the texture and color they add, along with the height of the jar. This tutorial will show you how they are made, step by step.
I’m so happy with how this little vignette turned out and it brings some color and cheer to our living space!! I hope you enjoyed reading about it just as much! Thanks for stopping in and don’t forget to follow along on Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and Youtube!!
