I know I’ve shown you easy decor makeovers before, but this one seriously is the easiest because all you add is spray paint! Seriously, just spray paint!! I’ve been eyeing ALL the gold bunnies for spring but they were either more expensive than my budget or I didn’t want to have to order them and wait for them to arrive. So….when I spotted sweet little rabbits at Hobby Lobby I knew they were just right for what I wanted, and the idea for the gold bunnies, easy Hobby Lobby transformation was born!
Now, I paid about $4.00 each for these bunnies, but Easter will be on sale soon at Hobby Lobby I’m sure, so you could pick these up for 40% off for an even better deal.
Next, grab your favorite color and brand of spray paint to really transform these little guys. I’m using Krylon Metallic Gold paint but any color can be used. When spraying the bunnies patience really is your friend. Use very light coats of spray paint and allowing drying time between each coat because you don’t want the paint to run. Trust me on this one!
Finally, the slow painting process pays off and you end up with these beauties that I just love so much!!
Here’s a visual of a before and after on these guys and I think the paint makes a stunning difference! The gold is a much better compliment to my decor and not so stark as the white. I’m just loving the gold bunnies, easy Hobby Lobby transformation and hope you do too!
