There are several items I try to keep on hand for crafting, including these Dollar Tree bottle caps that are super versatile! I never get tired of crafting with them, so of course I had to use one for Christmas and winter with this bottle cap snowman!

First things first, since this one is going to be a snowman we need to paint it white, either with spray paint or chalk/acrylic paint. We’ll use the OUTSIDE of the cap for this one, not the inside.

It took two coats of Waverly chalk paint for good coverage. Allow dry time between coats for the best results.

When the paint is dry we’ll go ahead and add our sweet face. I know I’m going to be adding Diamond Dust to this one, so I’ll paint the features bigger and bolder.

What’s more, that Dollar Tree stylus really comes in handy on this bottle cap snowman project!! I’m also using black, Pumpkin, and Ballet Slipper pink paint to create the face.

Once the face paint is completely dry, go ahead and brush on a layer of Mod Podge and Diamond Dust. Glitter can be used if preferred.

So pretty!!

Next, I like to spray all of my glittered DIYs with sealant to help keep the glitter intact.
Adding all the details!

Finally, I’ll add a jute hanger, a bow, strips of Dollar Tree material, and a rusty bell to the top. This is some of my favorite Dollar Tree material!

One more trick I use is adding a small drop of hot glue to hold my bow and material strips exactly where I want them to stay.

All done! Wow, I just love the shimmer on this project! That Diamond Dust really made a difference! Let me know what you think!
