It’s the most magical time of year with twinkling lights and sparkling inspiration EVERYWHERE!! This year I wanted all the red on my tree with red ribbon, polka dots, and even some unusual ribbon with a twist!! Come on in and take a tour of my classic red and white Christmas tree and mantle, just in time for December!!

I’m a sucker for pretty ribbon and this year my picks are pretty simple, but I think they’ll look beautiful on the tree!! The flocked, wire ribbon is my favorite!!

I like to cut smaller sections and tuck it into the tree in a vertical pattern. I’ll add the wire ribbon last, and to make it pop I’ll tuck it on top of the red.

After I add my ribbon I always add these beautiful red ornaments, my favorites!! I’ll also add some red berry picks to the top and a few onto the limbs of the tree.

I love to tuck signs into my tree as a finishing touch!! This one came from Hobby Lobby!! What do you think?

To attach the sign to the tree I drilled a small hole in the back and used a twist tie to attach to a tree limb.

Now for the classic red & white mantle…
To create the mantle garland I combined two garlands together. I added some spray snow, lights, ribbon, and large Dollar Tree bells to finish it off!!

Can you believe these bells were made from Dollar Tree bowls??? This is one of my favorite DIY projects this year! Be sure to check out the tutorial here.

Whew!! All finished in here, time to move on the rest of the house!! Hope you enjoyed my classic red & white Christmas tree and mantle friends!!
