I love the idea of a few goodies to nibble on while your waiting for the meal and I love a pretty table. This little peat place setting favor DIY will give your table some spring color and whimsy at the same time!!
This little peat pot place setting favor starts out with a simple peat pot. I’m using Jiffy – Pots 3 for this project. You will also need a pretty napkin, Mod Podge, a plastic grocery bag, some bakers twine, easter grass, and candy eggs.

Let’s get started….
The first step is to cut out the section of napkin that you want to adhere to the peat pot. I’ll be cutting it out and then pulling the plys apart, leaving you with only the top ply to apply to the pot.

Brush Mod Podge onto the peat pot where you plan to adhere the napkin and press your napkin section onto the pot, working all the way around. I made several pleats in my napkin as I worked around the pot in order to keep it in the center all the way around.

Once the napkin is wrapped all the way around the pot and secured with Mod Podge, you will add another coat of Mod Podge on top. Be careful not to tear your napkin during this process. I will be covering the whole pot with a coat, top to bottom.

When the pot is dry you can add your contents. I little trick I use when filling containers is to cut a plastic grocery bag into two pieces and then stuff a piece into the bottom before adding the grass and eggs.

The last thing to do is add your eggs and bakers twine and you’re all finished!!

Just the right touch of spring color for a table setting! Thank you for stopping by and see you next time friends!! Be sure and follow along on all social media and check out the Word and Home spring decor board right here….Pinterest.
