I LOVE a good clearance find and it’s even better when it can be transformed into a piece that’s used over and over again! I have a clearance sign spring make-over in mind AND I’m sharing the free printable with you!
First, I’ll grab one of these self adhesive wall tiles from Dollar Tree and cut it down to fit into the frame of the clearance sign. Remove the adhesive backing before cutting the tile.
Next, I’ll paint the tile with Waverly Ivory chalk paint and allow it to dry.
Finally, I’ll glue the tile into the frame using hot glue. Any permanent glue can be used, I prefer the hot glue since it sets quickly.
Lastly, I’ll lightly brush on some Behr wax and attach a metal clip with glue. The dark wax will beautifully accent the details on the tile!
