I don’t know about you but I my dough bowls have become a constant staple in my home decor. I enjoy their versatility because it’s easy to change out the contents for every season and holiday. These easy felt snowman dough bowl fillers are a perfect addition AND I can keep them for Christmas and all winter. The best part? You are not going to believe how easily and quickly they come together!

First, I have a supply list of everything I’m using , including a free printable snowman outline.
- White Felt (Mine is from Hobby Lobby)
- Hot Glue Tool and Hot Glue Sticks
- Free Snowman Outline Printable
- Strips of Material (Use for Scarf)
- Small Bells (Mine are from Dollar Tree)
- Poly-Fil for Snowman Stuffing

Next, a felt sheet on top of the printable and use a pen or pencil to trace both snowman outlines. Use scissors to cut these out. You will need two snowman for each piece. Don’t worry too much about ink lines where you traced because you can turn the shape over and glue that on the inside. Once cut out, I like stack the two together and trim up edges that don’t align.

Once the two pieces are all trimmed and aligned they can be glued together. Start by gluing the heads together and add a little of the Poly-Fil.

Now just continue gluing and adding Poly-Fil as you go until you have the snowman glued all the way around.
Adding the Final Details

When all finished you’ll have a basic snowman shape, but the material scarf and bell really bring it to life!

Make a few of these easy felt snowman bowl fillers or a lot, just depends on the size of your container. Neutral material colors can be used to keep these cute little guys out all winter. I would love to hear if you give this easy DIY a try!
