The Dollar Tree pillar candles are so versatile and inexpensive that I couldn’t pass up the chance to transform one for Christmas! You’ll only need a few items to create this Dollar Tree decoupaged holiday candle and no one will ever guess it didn’t come from a boutique!

For this project you’ll need:
- Dollar Tree LED Candle
- Napkin
- Mod Podge
- Glitter
- Parchment Paper
- Heat Gun or Blow Dryer
- Spray Top Coat

First, use a paint brush and water to wet the edges of the napkin and tear. We’ll use two printed sections of napkin, one for each side of the candle.

Once both sections of napkins have been torn to the desired size, set them aside. Brush a layer of Mod Podge onto the candle and let it dry completely.

Applying the Napkin

When the Mod Podge is dry, place the napkin section on the candle where you’d like, and cover it with a piece of parchment paper. Use the heat gun or hair dryer to heat the napkin underneath the parchment paper. Smooth the napkin as you go to prevent wrinkles. The heat will reactivate the Mod Podge and cause the napkin to adhere to the candle.

Finally, when the napkins are added to both sides, brush Mod Podge onto the top of napkins and candle. Then, sprinkle glitter on top to complete the Dollar Tree decoupaged holiday candle.

Wow! How pretty is this candle?!? When the candle is dry, add a spray top coat to help hold the glitter in place.

Y’all, can I tell you just how much I LOVE this candle?!? It has exceeded my expectations and I can’t believe how easy it was to create! Let me know if you enjoyed this and I’d love to know if you make this gorgeous project!
