To make the easy faux Dollar Tree caramel apples I’ll be using gloss Mod Podge, Folk Art Raw Sienna, popsicle or some other kind of stick, and ribbon.

First off, remove the stems from each apple and insert a stick. Use a craft blade to make a hole if you cannot easily insert the stick.

Next, mix some of the Raw Sienna paint with a good amount of the Mod Podge and mix well. Use a spoon to add some of the mixture to the top of an apple. The paint will naturally run down the sides of the apple. Add small amounts of paint at a time so you don’t get too much.

Set the apples on wax paper or hang and allow to dry overnight. This is the most time consuming part.

Finally, when the paint is completely dry I’ll add a cute bow by attaching with hot glue to the stick. Now these pretties are ready to be displayed for fall and Halloween! What do you think of these? I love that they add a bright pop of color to my fall decor! Let me know if you give them a try!
